Leading the charge has been the #StopAdani movement in Australia. They have pushed most of Lloyd’s insurers to rule out insuring a coal mine that would open up the Galilee Basin and potentially more than double Australia’s current coal exports.

I absolutely agree with the above. This seems hypocritical and perverse, especially as no good environmental reason has been proffered.
This is awful and not good enough for the local people and the same applies to the idea of such a mine flying in the face of what is supposed to be a climate crisis – a double crisis in fact the climate and the people they are proposing to disregard and invade.
It is beyond belied that companies are still determined to put profit before the terrifying facts of global warming. If members of your company have children aor grandchildren, think of their futures, and please do NOT support Adani’s proposed coal mine.
Say no to dirty coal!
